The Education Justice Project Alumni program (EJPA) supports our students after their release from Danville prison. Through EJPA we encourage our alumni’s efforts to further their education, serve as a clearinghouse for re-entry resources, and help them to stay connected to EJP through events on the Urbana-Campus and in Chicago. There have been almost twenty EJP students released to date. Most have returned to Chicago, though we also have alumni in Tennessee, Louisiana, Florida, Indiana, and Mexico . Many of our alumni are engaged in peace and justice work in their communities.
